Adopting through Amara is affordable

We can keep our fees low, thanks to the support of generous, committed donors.

We offer our families the flexibility to pay incrementally as they move through each step of the adoption process.

Costs for adoption can be defrayed by Washington State adoption support, the Federal Adoption Tax Credit and employer adoption benefits.

Families will need to hire their own attorney for the actual finalization court process. These costs vary among adoption attorneys.

Amara is a secular, non-profit organization and relies on a combination of philanthropy and fees to support its services.
